Backless Wall Top Benches

Backless seats mounted on top of a retaining or seat wall, with no legs of their own. About backless wall top benches

A wall top bench turns a retaining wall or seat wall into a proper seat. There are no legs. The frame sits on the wall and is fixed with PEG epoxy or bolted down, and on the Beselt Wall Bench the seat is 4 inches high over a 24 inch depth, so the wall does the structural work and the bench adds a comfortable surface and a finished edge.

The Beselt Backless Wall Top Bench (6ft) uses a two-piece frame: the base is fixed first and the seat lifts off, which makes installation and later board replacement simpler. Lengths are 60 inches, 72 inches and 2.5 metres, with custom lengths to ten feet. The Bayview Backless Wall Top Bench 6ft runs to eight feet and uses aluminum armrests to deter skateboard grinding, and the Mena Backless Wall Top Bench 8ft is the longest standard piece at 96 inches.

Frames are marine-grade aluminum with stainless steel hardware and a super-durable powder coat, the same build as the freestanding benches in the same families, so a Beselt or Bayview wall bench can match the benches already on the site.
