Recycled Plastic Picnic Tables
Picnic tables with 100% recycled plastic lumber tops and seats, from child-sized to 8 ft wheelchair accessible. About recycled plastic picnic tables
The recycled plastic board is 100% HDPE, about half post-consumer and half post-industrial. Its colour runs all the way through, so a scratch shows the same shade underneath and the table never needs staining or paint. It won't rot, splinter or warp, and service life runs beyond 25 years with minimal maintenance, which is why it is the standard top here.
The Rutherford Picnic Table is the original, with separated seat and table sections for accessibility and 70% recycled content. The Bayview Picnic Table 6ft angles its feet so knees don't hit them and bull-noses the boards for leaning. Centred, sloped legs for a clear sliding entry are the point of the Parker Picnic Table 6ft. Most frames are marine-grade aluminum; the Single Pedestal Picnic Table uses a sandblasted, zinc-primed steel frame and installs direct-burial or surface-mount.
Wheelchair accessible versions exist across the range: the Rutherford Wheelchair Accessible Picnic Table and Larson Wheelchair Accessible Picnic Table 8ft both run 96 in. The Bayview Hexagonal Picnic Table seats six around a locking umbrella hole, and the Rutherford Child-Sized Picnic Table drops the seat to 14 in with room for an adult to join.

Testimonial
At Hasting Elementary, I’ve been checking up on the furniture and the bright red Bayview Hex Tables look good as the day they were installed! A lot of schools purchase wood furniture, and it just doesn’t last in our climate. That’s why I thought of Wishbone, because it lasts and looks great. The Wishbone benches and tables are used all the time, they’re just a great addition to school. I’ve had so many positive comments from parents and children, and other community groups are using them too.

Questions
Are the picnic tables wheelchair accessible?
Many are. The Rutherford Wheelchair Accessible Picnic Table and Larson Wheelchair Accessible Picnic Table 8ft are 96 in long, the Parker and Bayview tables offer accessible configurations, and the Single Pedestal Picnic Table has a wheelchair-accessible version.
How is a picnic table anchored?
The Single Pedestal Picnic Table installs direct-burial or surface-mount. Several other models in the range are available surface-mount.
Does recycled plastic lumber fade?
Years of sun will fade the surface, and the Renew tool takes that layer back off. The colour runs through the board, so scratches show the same shade and it never needs staining or paint.
Is there a table for young children?
The Rutherford Child-Sized Picnic Table has a 14 in seat height and a 24 in table height, with clearance so a caregiver can sit too. It uses the same lumber dimensions as the adult Rutherford.
