Picnic Tables for Parks

Six-foot, eight-foot accessible, child-sized and hexagonal picnic tables built for parks and playgrounds. About picnic tables for parks

Eleven products across nine models cover the park picnic table, most of them from the Parker family, led by the Parker Picnic Table 6ft. Its curved geometry was drawn for modern playgrounds, the connecting structure is narrow to reduce tripping, and the centred, sloped legs give a clear sliding entry. The frame is marine-grade aluminum with stainless steel hardware, and the lumber is 100% recycled plastic at 65% recycled content.

Accessible tables run 96 in: the Parker Wheelchair Accessible Picnic Table 8ft and the Park Series wheelchair accessible table. The Park Series tables are 100% recycled plastic over hidden steel reinforcement and ship unassembled. For younger users, the Rutherford Child-Sized Picnic Table drops the seat to 14 in and the top to 24 in, with room for a caregiver.

The Bayview Hexagonal Picnic Table seats six around a locking umbrella hole, with a two-sided chess and checker insert as an option. Skate blocks and the same game insert are options on the Park Series tables and the Rutherford Child-Sized Picnic Table.

Two years ago, our School's Outdoor Classroom (École Champs Vallée School in Beaumont Alberta) received two Parker Picnic tables as a donation from a local family. We've been consistently impressed with how well this furniture has withstood both the elements and student use. When it came time to furnish the rest of our project, we knew immediately that we wanted to work with Wishbone Site Furnishings. Katie was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the process. Although I was initially unsure about matching the existing picnic tables' color, Katie promptly sent a sample kit, which allowed me to confidently identify the exact color needed. Our order was placed and delivered within the promised shipping timeline. I was particularly impressed with the secure packaging of the furniture upon arrival; everything arrived in excellent condition. The clear instructions and well-organized hardware made installation simple and straightforward for our crew.

Wilco has supplied and installed Wishbone site furnishings on several of our park and urban landscape projects throughout British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan since 2008. One such project as photographed here is Kensington Village in Saskatoon SK. As a Landscape Architect I appreciate the Wishbone product for its’ aesthetics, function, value, durability, quality of material / construction, and fine attention to detail. Wishbone site furnishings do more than satisfy a functional requirement for one to rest their body, but rather do so in a way that places artfully crafted elements in the landscape, which serve to strengthen the designers’ passionate intent. There is nothing more disappointing than seeing a well-designed landscape being overlooked because of economically conventional site furnishings becoming the focal point.
