Outdoor Chairs for Parks

Single seats for parks and waterfronts, from a rocking chair that anchors to concrete to a giant Adirondack. About outdoor chairs for parks

Five seats, each for a different spot. The JEM Rocking Chair is a municipal-grade rocker that anchors directly to concrete, so it can go in a park or on a campus without walking off. The JEM Chaise Lounger stretches out to a 40 in seat depth under a contoured backrest. The Beselt Chair with Recycled Plastic 2ft is a 24 in armchair at 95% recycled content, with cedar, Accoya pine or bamboo as slat options.

Two are built for a view. The Giant Adirondack Chair is 77 in tall and 74 in long with a 27 in seat height, an over-scaled piece that becomes a destination on its own. The Parker Fisherman's Chair puts the seat at 35 in so an angler can sit above a pier or wharf railing, with stainless steel hardware chosen for salt air and an optional umbrella holder.

All five share a marine-grade aluminum frame, fully welded on the JEM Chaise Lounger and the Parker, stainless steel hardware and a super-durable powder coat. Slats are 100% recycled plastic lumber; the Giant Adirondack Chair also offers natural wood.

Wilco has supplied and installed Wishbone site furnishings on several of our park and urban landscape projects throughout British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan since 2008. One such project as photographed here is Kensington Village in Saskatoon SK. As a Landscape Architect I appreciate the Wishbone product for its’ aesthetics, function, value, durability, quality of material / construction, and fine attention to detail. Wishbone site furnishings do more than satisfy a functional requirement for one to rest their body, but rather do so in a way that places artfully crafted elements in the landscape, which serve to strengthen the designers’ passionate intent. There is nothing more disappointing than seeing a well-designed landscape being overlooked because of economically conventional site furnishings becoming the focal point.

Wishbone has been great for the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo. We love the maintenance free benches but, more importantly, our guests and donors get to have an amazing gift to honor and remember their loved ones.

Questions

Can the chairs be anchored to the ground?

The JEM Rocking Chair anchors directly to concrete, which is what makes a rocking chair workable in a public park or on a campus. Anchoring details for the other models are on each product page.

What seat heights do the chairs have?

From 14 in on the JEM Chaise Lounger, through 15 in on the JEM Rocking Chair and 17.5 in on the Beselt Chair with Recycled Plastic 2ft, up to 27 in on the Giant Adirondack Chair and 35 in on the Parker Fisherman's Chair.

Which chair suits a fishing pier?

The Parker Fisherman's Chair. Its 35 in seat height clears typical railing heights, the hardware is stainless steel for salt air, and an umbrella holder is optional.

Marine-grade aluminum frames with a super-durable powder coat and stainless steel hardware. Slats are 100% recycled plastic lumber as standard. The Beselt Chair with Recycled Plastic 2ft offers cedar, Accoya pine or bamboo, and the Giant Adirondack Chair offers natural wood options.
