Bluewater Park sits on Colpoys Bay in Wiarton, on the Bruce Peninsula. It is a waterfront park, and the furniture reflects that in a way that is easy to miss: the Mountain Classic benches went in as aluminum, both backed and backless, alongside the standard version.
Aluminum is what you specify when a site is exposed and the maintenance crew is small. It does not rust, it does not need refinishing, and it handles a shoreline better than most alternatives.
The rest is a waterfront park package. Lounge chairs and side tables for people who came to sit and look at the water. A heavy-duty eight-foot wheelchair-accessible picnic table. A large-capacity waste receptacle, which is the choice you make when servicing happens less often than you would like in the summer.
