Site Furnishings for Parks
Benches, picnic tables, chairs and trail hardware tagged for park use, drawn from 24 families. About site furnishings for parks
The park range is mostly seating. The Parker family leads it with 20 products, and the Parker Bench with Armrests 6ft shares its curves with the Parker Picnic Table 6ft. Both were drawn to sit beside modern play structures. The Mountain Classic Bench 6ft is the other big seller here, with a contoured backrest and large flat armrests that help an older person stand up.
Beyond benches there are picnic tables, the JEM Chaise Lounger, the JEM Rocking Chair, which anchors directly to concrete, and the Campsite/Trail Number Post in recycled plastic lumber, cut to any height up to 60 inches. The John Regular Outhouse Building ships on a pallet for remote sites and goes up with two people in three to four hours.
Every frame is marine-grade aluminum with stainless steel hardware and a super-durable powder coat. Slats are 100% recycled plastic as standard, which does not rot, splinter or warp and never needs paint, with cedar, Accoya pine or bamboo as options on the Bayside and Aylesbury benches. Cedar left alone weathers to a silver grey.
Testimonial
We are very pleased with the curb stops...they are a fantastic product. I used 60 of them to define a few parking areas in our industrial park area, Warren is using his at our community arena parking lot, and Dougal has used the majority of his to create a parking lot near the train station.

Testimonial
Wilco has supplied and installed Wishbone site furnishings on several of our park and urban landscape projects throughout British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan since 2008. One such project as photographed here is Kensington Village in Saskatoon SK. As a Landscape Architect I appreciate the Wishbone product for its’ aesthetics, function, value, durability, quality of material / construction, and fine attention to detail. Wishbone site furnishings do more than satisfy a functional requirement for one to rest their body, but rather do so in a way that places artfully crafted elements in the landscape, which serve to strengthen the designers’ passionate intent. There is nothing more disappointing than seeing a well-designed landscape being overlooked because of economically conventional site furnishings becoming the focal point.

Questions
Which picnic tables here are wheelchair accessible?
The Parker Picnic Table 6ft. offers wheelchair-accessible extensions, and the Bayview Hexagonal Picnic Table has a wheelchair-accessible version. The hexagonal table seats six around a locking umbrella hole.
Can the chairs and loungers be anchored?
The JEM Rocking Chair anchors directly to concrete, which is what makes a rocker workable in a public park. The JEM Chaise Lounger shares the same all-welded marine-grade aluminum frame and recycled plastic slats.
What is the number post used for?
The Campsite/Trail Number Post marks campsites and trail junctions. It is 100% recycled plastic lumber on a marine-grade aluminum frame, 43.5 inches tall as standard and custom-cut to 60 inches, with an optional routed marker plate version.
How do the benches hold up to weather?
Frames are marine-grade aluminum with stainless steel hardware and a super-durable powder coat. Standard slats are 100% recycled plastic, which does not rot, splinter or warp. Cedar, Accoya and bamboo are offered on several families; cedar greys naturally, and Accoya is modified so it will not swell or shrink.
