No stain, no sealant, no spring

The environmental cost of a wooden bench is not mainly the tree. It is the can of stain every spring for twenty years, and the crew day that goes with it.

Two streams, not three

Everyone specifying a recycling station reaches for three streams. Nine times out of ten, what actually gets ordered is two.

The lid that sheds snow

Curved-top waste receptacles tripled in a single year. There is nothing fashionable about a lid, so something practical changed.

Recycling stations are infrastructure

More than a third of the waste receptacles we ship are recycling stations. A recycling station is only as green as the truck that empties it, and specifying one is a decision about collection before it is a decision about furniture.
